In certain surroundings such as social housing or domestic environments noise and underfoot comfort are an important consideration. UZIN RR 620 flexible and acoustic underlay for luxury vinyl tiles improves underfoot comfort and acoustic reduction on poorly insulated surfaces. The high performance LVT underlay has low residual indentation and allows quick installation due to the self-adhesive backing which is easy to cut and apply.

Step by step guide:

Grind the substrate with a WOLFF grinding machine to remove poorly adhering residues or laitance.
Vacuum thoroughly with an industrial vacuum cleaner.
Pour UZIN PE 360 PLUS into a clean bucket.
Using the UZIN nylon fibre roller, apply a even coat of primer over the whole of the substrate. Allow to dry for approx. 30 – 60 minutes.
Lay out the sheets of UZIN RR 620 LVT underlay parallel to the intended direction of the floor covering with the adhesive side face down. Cut to size before adhering. Keep a several millimetre gap between all vertical structures such as walls.
Fold back half of the sheet and peel off the protective film.
Lay down the sheets precisely and thoroughly roll over. Then lay the second half in the same method. The LVT can then be installed immediately on the underlay.
Mark out the starting line. Spread UZIN KE 68 with a A5 notched trowel up to the line.
Within the short open time, lay the LVT along the positioning line and rub down by hand. Then thoroughly roll over the area with the WOLFF pressure roller.
